Star Trek: Trekimations
Just because we love Star Trek, in April of 2022 we reimagined an iconic moment from The Next Generation in the style of the 1970s Star Trek animated series. Artwork was created by hand, with imperfections added to emulate xeroxed animation cels, dirt, dust and photography errors.
Our fan film went viral, embraced by fellow Trek fans and casual viewers alike, and led to a follow-up Voyager animation that also went viral. The original YouTube postings passed 1.5 million views, with coverage from news sites including Gizmodo, Nerdist, Screen Rant and even Star Trek cast and crew!
